This was a very quick and fun read full of fun quirky characters. Much more of an action driven story, the Victorian London/city motif and the lack of character’s devastating emotional struggles made this an ill contender as a comp title. The twist of the three matching worlds and the portal through them using objects made for an interesting dynamic. I still have the other two books in the trilogy on my shelf, awaiting more time for a fun read. My current life with kids and cramming in writing on the weekends fills many hours.
